This seems to have already been resolved (see comment 23).

There is already a note to this effect below the algorithm.

It's unclear what needs changing for this.

It's unclear how to support this. We could use the sizes="" attribute with 
rel=icon, or reintroduce the reliance on microdata vocabularies, but in 
both cases it seems better to wait for evidence that those mechanisms are 
beign adopted by authors before relying on them for this feature.

I've fixed the atom:link issue and changed "xml" to "xhtml". I couldn't 
work out what the other complaints were about. If there are other 
problems, please raise them on the mailing list in a clear fashion and I'd 
be glad to update the spec.
