[ID Discuss] Using Flash for UI prototyping

Tom,

You might consider using OpenLaszlo for UI prototyping. We often use a
process where we start with click-thru screen shots and gradually
replace parts of the interface until it grows into a more fully
funtional prototype. We go on to develop the real app in laszlo, since
we generally develop web apps, but I think it would be useful even if
you were just going to use it in the prototype stage.

To get a feel for the basics, there's a nice interactive tutorial here:
http://www.laszlosystems.com/lps/laszlo-in-ten-minutes/

I don't know if anyone has specifically written about using OpenLaszlo
for prototyping, but I could dig up some examples and a useful class or
two if you are interested.
