Hi Patrick<br>

Flex/Flash is a bit of a bear to compile..but it works..<br>
fla, flv and swf formats are easily handled by any Multimedia
plugin for FF or *cough* IE browsers<br>

I understand, but some people don't like proprietary solutions.<br>

How does Canvas handle Audio / Video streams?<br>
</blockquote>
Well, html5 has video and audio, unrelated to canvas. Flash was
always a bit of a conglomeration. html5 doesn't try to make canvas
do it all;) They just provide a way for it all to get done. It's
early days yet though. We'll see. I'm seeing canvas used for
buttons a lot, but currently firefox is drawing text on canvas as
big black blocks wherever a character goes. It's annoying and I
can't figure out why or how to stop it.<br>
