By 'subject' I assume you mean scope (or namespace). Scope is something CSS
provides with nesting, adjacency and multiple classes on an element. But since
this metadata proposal is *not* CSS it can probably provide whatever additional
extensions or scoping are required.<br>

Also I wasn't aware of this until now but CSS3 actually does provide namespace
