[html5] help with inline-block & position:absolute?

Hoping to get help with a difficult problem involving using inline-block 
and position:relative, position:absolute to position my divs

not all browsers show it the same; FireFox shows it differently and I'd 
like to know if A)I can make all browsers show the same and B) how to do 
this, please?
