[imps] Should iframe have a border by default?

Hi all!

In major browsers like Firefox and Chrome, iframe is implemented in
way that by default it has a specific border style and width (which is
not "medium none").

Yet to me that seems to be nothing more than a "leftover" of the
obsolete frameborder attribute (since the default value of that is 1).

So should iframe be implemented like most (or all?) other elements,
which doesn't have a border by default?

P.S. I am NOT talking about the seamless attribute.
