[whatwg] Web Forms 2.0 and http:serverpost

Yesterday, I officially announced my serverpost.mozdev.org project.
The idea was to enable XUL user interfaces (or to a lesser extent,
other XML documents) to submit form controls to a server.

Dan Mosedale (aka dmose) asked in a comment to my weblog entry how
serverpost might relate to the Web Forms 2.0 specification. It
doesn't, yet. I'm definitely willing to exchange ideas with the
WHATWG on both my http:serverpost specification/implementation and on
Web Forms 2.0. The most relevant sections of Web Forms 2.0 appear to
be sections 4.4 and particularly section 5. Unfortunately, I've not
been a member of this mailing list until today, so I have very little
idea what the current thinking is...

I'd like to invite readers of this list to comment on serverpost, and
examine it for holes or ideas to incorporate into Web Forms 2.0.
