FWIW, Opera is ok either way. I personally think it doesn't make much  
sense for this to be different from synthesized events and also given that  
non-same origin windows that can access each other already have to be in  
sync (as mentioned in this thread), but we're good either way.

(Our initial implementation when postMessage was still on Document was in  
fact asynchronous and that it is now synchronous was more a side effect of  
the moving process than something intentional.)
