[HTML5] The noscript element

Hi,

I have a question about the noscript element.

"The |noscript 
<http://www.whatwg.org/specs/web-apps/current-work/multipage/section-scripting0.html#noscript>| 
element must not be used in XML documents 
<http://www.whatwg.org/specs/web-apps/current-work/multipage/section-documents.html#xml-documents>."
    is said in the documentation

I would like to know /why/ the noscript element must not be used in XML 
documents. (I hope this isn't a silly question.)

I hope this is the right place to ask this kind of questions.
