[html5] WebSockets v7

Hello List,
Firefox announced today on their blog that Firefox 6 now has support
for the latest specification of WebSockets, v7.
I tried diffing through CVS and comparing the editors draft against
the TR version, but I couldn't derive what high level features this
update to the WebSocket API includes?
Does it correspond to a protocol update as well?

Any help is appreciated. This is for an article, so please indicate if
you *do not* want to be quoted.
