Yes, as a user, using a GreaseMonkey/UserJS script to add/override the
author's looping choice/method is very important (especially if
there's a way to patch it in a general manner).
If there is a loop attribute supported, I also expect the UA to
provide an option to always override the author's choice with my own.
I also expect to be able to control it by right-clicking on the video
and toggling it (or in some similar manner).
User control of something like this is important. As an example of
what sucks, most flash players on sites now disable the quality
setting in the flash context menu and adobe doesn't give the user an
option to override that to always show it.
As for playcount, how useful is a value that isn't 1? Looping small
samples a number of time for a certain period for some kind of effect?
